• To promote an understanding and appreciation of the vital role that the Schenectady City School District’s libraries play in providing equitable access to space, resource, time, expertise...strengthening student learning/innovating, creating, and their lifelong love of reading as a learning hub...


• To seek support for our school libraries through monetary gifts, material gifts such as books, supplies, and equipment, or through gifts of time through volunteering​

• Build partnerships with community organizations, families, faculty, students, alumni, and community members and unite using #schenectadyreads
